Sunseeker confirms return of workers affected by "temporary layoffs"

Sunseeker, a British yacht builder based in Poole, has provided an update on the yard's ongoing operational difficulties, which led to "temporary layoffs" for a limited number of the yard's 2,150 employees beginning on 2 and 3 January 2025.

According to the yard, all 100 workers affected by the layoffs will return to the company by 27 January 2025, with the option to take this time as paid holiday. The decision comes after disruptions in the company's supply chain were "heightened during December".
