Sri Lanka's Port City Colombo officially broke ground on a new $120 million marina development with a special ceremony held on 10 January.
The occasion marked a significant milestone for marine tourism in Sri Lanka and South Asia, and saw a number of distinguished guests in attendance, including Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath, Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong and the city's economic commission chairman, Harsha Amarasekara.
