Pearl Yachts revealed mixed results in its latest financial filings, reporting a decline in turnover and profit but an increase in gross profit margin for the fiscal year ending 31 July 2022.
The British boatbuilder experienced a 36.2 per cent decrease in turnover from the previous fiscal year, falling from a total value of £27.7 million to £17.7 million. The accompanying strategic report suggested that adverse global economic conditions could further reduce demand for the company's product, which the yard plans to mitigate through continued innovation and the launch of new designs, such as the Pearl 82 which was revealed at boot Düsseldorf in January 2023.
