NEOM has released the first interior images of the Sindalah Yacht Club ahead of the Sindalah island destination's official opening later this year.
Developed in collaboration with Italian designer Stefano Ricci, the club aims to establish a premier travel destination for yacht owners within the Red Sea.
In terms of its interior design, Ricci opted for white Carrara marble with nautical blue accents inspired by the island's natural surroundings. The restaurant, which features a curated menu by Michelin star chef Enrico Bartolini, has been decorated with a coffered ceiling and hand-woven textiles from the historic Antico Setificio Fiorentino in Florence.
"I entered the Sindalah Yacht Club project because I believe that NEOM is a visionary undertaking ahead of its time, like Florence which became the cradle of the Renaissance," said Ricci. "It’s a beautiful jump into the future that recalls our mission. As a Florentine designer, I hope to have conveyed the fine stylistic balance that ideally unites these two worlds."
The 1,800-square-metre club – which will be managed by IGY Marinas – is also equipped with a terrace pool, lounge and berthing facilities for yachts up to 180 metres in the neighbouring Sindalah Marina.
"As we place the finishing touches on NEOM’s inaugural island destination, we are thrilled to share with the world a behind-the-scenes look at what Sindalah will have to offer," commented Sindalah general manager Nicholas Smith. "Our partnership with Stefano Ricci represents our dedication to enthralling future visitors and offering a truly premium experience for the world’s yachting enthusiasts."
