German shipyard Lürssen is set to acquire a 25 per cent stake in Lloyd Werft Bremerhaven following approval from Germany's national competition regulatory agency.
According to the Federal Cartel Office, the deal was permitted on the basis that Lloyd Werft currently "has no marine-related business activities", signalling a lack of conflict "despite the corresponding activities of the Lürssen Group and the Rönner Group".
