Baglietto presses ahead with plans for fuel cell technology

Italian shipyard Baglietto has shared further details about its sustainability initiatives during a press conference at the shipyard in La Spezia. The yard revealed it was developing a land-based prototype of a hydrogen production module that will be at the heart of its onboard fuel cell technology. Called BZero, the system is identical to the one which will eventually be installed on Baglietto yachts over 50 metres in length, but is being created on a smaller scale.
