The 30 metre Cantieri di Pisa superyacht Ion Fedra has been stabilised after it began taking on water when she hit a low-lying reef in Greece. The incident took place on July 27 in the Gulf of Ornos off the coast of Mykonos.
According to local media reports, the forward part of the yacht's hull was breached and she developed a heavy forward list. The Greek coast guard and firefighting squad arrived on the scene to manage the water intake.
The vessel was fully recovered with no pollution detected in the area. The yacht has since been moved to a safe marina, where it is understood she will undergo maintenance and repair work.
