Valyra is constructed entirely from carbon fibre, incorporating advanced technology to minimize noise and vibration. Donald Blount designed VALYRA for speeds exceeding 50 knots, and she underwent successful trials before delivery.
The yacht has been meticulously maintained throughout its lifespan. Hodgdon, the original builders, carried out a major refit in 2016. Since then, the vessel has been under a maintenance agreement with Rybovich Shipyard, ensuring continuous upkeep to the highest standards.
She has benefited from the installation of a SeaKeeper Zero Speed Stabilizer. The stabilisation system features a SeaKeeper Gyro for both Zero Speed and underway, paired with a Humphree interceptor Dynamic Stabilisation System for high-speed cruising. She is powered by three MAN V12 engines, each delivering 1,800 HP, coupled to Kamewa Jets.
She can accommodate up to four guests in two staterooms, with two crew members attending to their every need. With a gross tonnage of 63.0 GT, she is constructed with a composite deck, hull, and superstructure.
