The 27.3-metre Wally motor yacht Alexandra has been sold in-house at Christie Yachts, with Felix Sowerbutts representing both the buyer and seller.
Delivered by Wally in 2018 as the fifth and final GRP hull in the WallyAce series, this "pocket" superyacht incorporates innovative design ideas by Wally founder Luca Bassani and AllSeas combined with an original Alberto Pinto interior.
She was refitted from 2021 to 2022 by her previous owners who upgraded her cosmetically and technically: additional stabilisers being one addition to her over €1,000,000 refit. Following her sale she will join the charter market, available for charter in Greece this summer.
Alexandra's master cabin is located on the lower deck aft with direct access to the swim platform through large sliding glass doors: a suite noted by the broker to be similar in size to those found on 60-metre yachts. A double cabin and a twin cabin with a Pullman berth are positioned aft of the engine room on the lower deck, to sleep a party of up to seven guests on board. Crew quarters for four in two cabins are located forward, adjacent to the galley.
Alexandra's interior boasts 280 square metres of living space, while her sundeck offers guests 59 square metres on which to relax. There are seating areas on each deck for guests to enjoy privacy or all gather together, perhaps under an awning on the foredeck when stern to in port, or on the sundeck when underway. Al fresco dining is enjoyed on the aft deck under the elegant teak-laid deckhead.
The swim platform on this particular boat was extended and features an "oversized hydraulic transformer", which lowers to below the waterline and also aids boarding from the quayside.
The 135GT RINA-classed motor yacht is powered by a pair of Caterpillar diesel engines for a top speed of 14 knots and cruising speed of 11 knots. The range is 3,800 nautical miles at nine knots.
The brokers noted a special thanks to the captain and crew for their assistance during the sale.
Alexandra was last asking €5,450,000.
