The 28.04 metre Mangusta motor yacht Kampai, listed for sale by Chris Daves and Kyle Dunn at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Mark Ross of Rick Obey & Associates.
A Mangusta 92 model, Kampai was built in GRP by Italian yard Overmarine to a design by Stefano Righini and is ABS classed with delivery in 2005 and a refit in 2015. Comfortable accommodation is for nine guests in four cabins configured as a master suite, VIP suite, double and a twin with a Pullman berth, all with entertainment centres, flat screen televisions and en-suite bathroom facilities. Four crew are accommodated in two cabins.
A sumptuous saloon has two large seating areas including a settee and dinette on the port side with another settee and coffee table to starboard, while forward is an entertainment centre including a 42-inch flat screen television set on a rise and fall system. A large sun roof opens electrically and all fabrics were replaced in 2015. Aft and to starboard lies a large wet bar with a fridge and ice maker. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 12 guests with a Hermes dining service and St. Hilaro silverware in custom acrylic storage drawers.
Al fresco entertaining and dining is available on the aft deck featuring a large sun pad, ample seating on built-in upholstered bench seating and two settees with a table, and there is access to a wide swim platform and a stainless steel fresh water shower.
Kampai has twin 2,100hp MTU diesel engines linked to KaMeWa water jets that blast her through the water at speeds of up to 30 knots.
