The classic 42.9-metre motor yacht Lady Goodgirl has been sold with Michael White of TWW Yachts representing the seller and Messum Yachts and Burgess introducing the buyer.
Built in 1964 by Hall Russell in the UK, and refitted in 2011, the steel vessel is described by the broker as "one of the few surviving classic motor yachts of her generation" and has been impeccably maintained by her owner since. She was designed by Philip Rhodes.
Accommodation is for 10 to 11 guests in five cabins, comprising a master forward on the main deck, a generous full-beam VIP on the lower deck, forward of the engine room, and two twins and a triple aft.
Lady Goodgirl's interior is appropriately classic in appearance, with high-gloss, varnished wood panelling, gilt-framed paintings, teak and holly planked soles, rugs, antique furniture and inviting armchairs.
As well as the elegant canoe stern area of the main deck, which features a well-protected, circular dining table, the bridge deck and sundeck offer extensive entertainment areas.
The 316GT yacht benefits from a "thoroughly updated engine room with modern machinery and systems including zero-speed stabilisers". Twin 650hp Caterpillar diesels give a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum of 12.5 knots.
Lady Goodgirl was last asking €6,450,000 with VAT paid.
