Location: Mediterranean (summer season)
Highlights: Six decks, a generous 16-metre beam and a 124-square-metre sun deck, Carinthia VII is a capacious charter yacht built for enjoyment, complete with an air-conditioned gym, winter garden, outdoor cinema, beauty salon, nail bar and a large 12-metre-long swimming pool. Her 2023 refit created even more space in the form of a new outdoor area - and won this Tim Heywood-designed yacht a gong at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards. Carinthia VII will operate out of the Med this summer, which gives golfers plenty of options for coastal courses. Choose from the 75-acre Golf de Sperone in Corsica, famous for its legendary 16th hole, which requires a tee shot over the Med; the 18-hole Bay Course in Greece, widely known to be one of the most scenic places to play in Europe; or the Ryder Cup frontrunner Camiral Golf & Wellness, host venue for our second Barcelona Golf Invitational taking place 14-15 May.

El Rey

Seawolf X
Stats: 42.8m, Rossinavi, 2024, 12 guests, 7 crew
Location: Australia
Highlights: The hybrid-electric Seawolf X is not only highly green but highly advanced too - it uses "biomimicry inspired by phytoplankton" to store and consume energy via batteries and solar panels as well as AI to monitor and regulate the daily energy requirements for crew and guests. Her cool interior design, by Meyer Davis, is an oasis of calm, inspired by "sun, sea and sand", but the real highlight is her space - most notably, a huge 100-square-metre lounge and dining area, plus an expansive deck which houses a hidden Jacuzzi and convertible home theatre. She is the perfect yacht to pootle around the Whitsunday archipelago, stopping off to knock out 18 holes on the pristine Hamilton Island's famous greens before heading to Sydney for the iconic Lakes Golf Club. But it's Tasmania where the real golfing action is: Cape Wickham Golf Links, Barnbougle Dunes and King Island have just a few of the island's world-class courses, which have turned Tazzy into a global golfing destination in the last few years.
Seawolf X is available for charter with Cecil Wright, starting from €380,000 a week.
The Maj Oceanic

Guests can take to the ship’s top deck with golf clubs and biodegradable golf balls, but if that doesn't satisfy the golfing purists, set sail for Bali. Perched along its dramatic coastline is the Nirwana Bali Golf Club, an 18-hole course designed by Greg Norman that offers jaw-dropping views of the Indian Ocean and the iconic Tanah Lot Temple. South of the island, New Kuta Golf Club is a championship-level course spanning 85 hectares and is Indonesia's first links-style layout.
