The industry's biggest week of the year: A review of the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show
The 34th edition of the Monaco Yacht Show officially wrapped on 27 September 2025, welcoming close to 30,000 visitors to Port Hercule over the course of its four-day run.
Anticipation for this year’s show was especially high coming off the back of the Cannes Yachting Festival, which reported an unexpected surge in buyer activity. And according to Lürssen’s new sales and marketing director, Luca Raumland, the momentum did seem to carry into the Monaco Yacht Show, with positive client interactions taking place across the quays. Still, he added that the overall atmosphere felt slightly more subdued compared to the previous year. "We did feel it was a little quieter this year, but for us it’s not about the quantity of people – it’s the quality of conversations that matters," he told BOATPro.

Still, there were still several deals being inked during the show, such as Bilgin Yachts’ latest 53-metre project, known only as NB97. Oceanco also signed a landmark agreement for a 130-metre superyacht, set to become the Dutch yard’s largest project ever built with "unmatched capabilities, design sophistication and operational range".
"Although this year’s show carried a slightly more restrained atmosphere compared with previous editions, for [Phoenix Yacht Management] it was our most successful Monaco Yacht Show to date," CEO and founder Ian Harris told BOATPro. "We were directly involved in the sale of Heesen’s newest 55-metre, Agnetha, which has also entered our management fleet, and we secured another Mediterranean-based yacht under management – bringing two significant additions to our portfolio. We also advanced discussions with several shipyards regarding the follow-up of a potential new-build project now taking shape."

Overall, this year’s exhibitors expressed particular praise for the quality of the private clientele – many of whom came with serious intentions to discuss acquisitions or new-build projects, which Monaco Yacht Show managing director Gaëlle Tallarida said was a "testament to the show’s attractiveness and relevance worldwide".
