Queen Elizabeth II - one of our favourite royals at sea - is now officially Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and her London residence, Buckingham Palace, is well worth a visit.
Although much of the palace remains private 19 of its State Rooms are open to the public every summer. The stunning rooms are filled with famous masterpieces from the Royal Collection and their elaborate interiors are breathtaking. To really make the most of the experience book an exclusive guided tour, which finishes with a glass of Champagne served in the Bow Room.
