The Dawn Black Badge will join an impressive line-up of cars, including a Sapphire Dawn and Black Badge Wraith, which will be present at the Summer Studio throughout its duration but it’s worth timing your visit to coincide with Rolls-Royce’s newest release.

Porto Cervo may be famous for its dizzying array of luxury boutiques just a stones throw from your superyacht but, for a true taste of Sardinia, seek out the locally made produce on offer. The region’s honey and olive oil are acknowledged to be some of the best in the world while its traditional myrtle liqueur may be an acquired taste but it’s always worth keeping a bottle on board. Take home local fabrics made into blankets, throws and tablecloths to gift to friends and family.

Porto Cervo is surrounded by lush green hills meaning a hike in the area is always rewarded with stunning views. Hike north for around an hour to take in the rugged coastline and high cliffs of Capo Ferro or follow the coastal route south for a little culture at the Monte di Mola museum and Louise Alexander Gallery which lay across the bay from the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. Be sure to stop at the Chiesa di Stella Maris church to watch the sunset on your return.

Tired of all the sun, sea and sand? Take a drive through the wooded countryside around Costa Smeralda to the historic town of Tempio Pausania where the oldest buildings date back to the 13th century. Famous for its cork products created from the trees of the surrounding forests, thermal springs and quintessentially Mediterranean granite architecture, stop for a drink in one its many charming squares, check out the ruins of the Palace of Giudice Nino Visconti di Gallura and take a tour of the San Pietro Cathedral.
