A 25 metre Sunseeker 82 model has been engulfed in a fire at the marina of Hamilton Island, in Queensland, Australia. The yacht is believed to be called Time Out.
According to local reports, the yacht fire broke out at 10am local time and continued for at least five hours, with emergency services hindered by windy weather.
The blaze was eventually extinguished, but the hull remains smouldering in the marina. The fire was contained to a single vessel and no one was on board at the time of the incident.
No injuries have been reported, but a statement by Queensland Ambulance Service has indicated that members of the public who have gone to the marina to look at the fire have suffered smoke inhalation.
