The freshly delivered 140m Lloyd Werft superyacht Solaris has been turning heads since it hit the water earlier this year. BOAT takes a look at the best photos of the standout superyacht.

Solaris was spotted enjoying the tail-end of the 2021 Mediterranean summer season anchored between Juan-le-Pins and Cannes in October 2021. 

Solaris in France

Solaris has been spotted during its first summer season cruising the French Riviera. The superyacht was photographed enjoying the evening light in Antibes near the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc.

Solaris in Gibraltar

The yacht, which was designed by Australian designer Marc Newson, was spotted after delivery in Gibraltar on the way to Barcelona. 

Solaris hits the water

After first hitting the water in thick mist, the 140m superyacht Solaris was revealed for the first time in February 2021. The yacht was launched by German yard Lloyd Werft in Germany. 

Solaris on sea trials

Solaris is one of the largest superyachts to hit the water in 2021 and is a new entry to the 25 largest superyachts in the world. After hitting the water for the first time, the yacht began sea trials in the North Sea.

The bow

The bow and port and starboard forward balconies can be seen in this photograph, which is taken from the water. Also visible is Solaris's light grey hull and white superstructure. 

The decks

Solaris's eight decks can be seen in this photograph also taken from the water. Little is known about this highly secretive superyacht but images show a large swimming pool aft of the main deck and a helipad.
