Bannenberg and Rowell reveal 50m superyacht concept Project Isola

29 March 2021 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

UK superyacht design studio Bannenberg and Rowell has revealed a 50-metre motor yacht concept named Project Isola.

Penned in collaboration with Dutch studio Azure Naval Architects during isolation, the sub 500GT yacht pairs “freedom of open exterior space and the sense of security and private wellbeing.”

The project saw the two studios challenge themselves “to take on that challenge of reconciling length and space within that all-too-familiar 500GT limit”.

Elsewhere, the design features efficient lines for optimised performance and the option for hybrid propulsion. Accommodation is for a total of 12 guests across an owner’s cabin and five additional guest cabins.

Other features include a flush swimming pool and storage for a nine-metre tender.
