The first annual Versilia Yachting Rendezvous will get underway in Viareggio this week (May 11-14) and a fine selection of superyachts will be gracing the Italian port.
Our round-up starts with the CRN superyacht Atlante, which will be the largest yacht at the show with an LOA of 54.8 metres. Launched in 2015, this Nuvolari Lenard-designed yacht is particularly notable for her military styling and spruce-lined superyacht beach club.
As well as Atlante, the Ferretti Group is exhibiting a notably strong line-up of 15 yachts, including the Custom Line 33 Crescendo. This series has proven particularly popular for the yard with more than 12 hulls launched in total.
Hull number one in the Baglietto 46M Fast series, Lucky Me was launched in May 2016 sporting exterior styling by the Francesco Paszkowski design studio. One of the largest yachts heading to the Versilia Yachting Rendezvous, she boasts accommodation for ten guests and 12 crewmembers, while her lush bow area is ideal for soaking up the sun.
A 2015 launch for Baglietto, 43.65 metre Pachamama strikes a fine balance between sporty 33-knot performance and family-friendly features. Margherita Casprini and Francesco Paszkowski collaborated on her interior of teak, limestone and dark brown leather, while low and simple furniture helps to create a relaxing and comfortable environment on board.
The sleek, sporty Riva Florida 88 looks set to be one of the most popular yachts on display at the Versilia Yachting Rendezvous. This 26.84 metre fast planing yacht is capable of speeds in excess of 38 knots, while electro-hydraulic convertible hardtop is a real party piece, opening up to reveal an enormous main-deck cockpit.
Part of the Benetti Vivace 125 range, 38.1 metre Skyler is sure to turn heads at the Versilia show. Stefano Righini created her dynamic, angular exterior styling, while the interior décor comes courtesy of British studio Redman Whiteley Dixon. Apart from that, few details are known about this highly secretive new arrival. Other yachts due to go on display from the Azimut-Benetti Group include the first Azimut Grande 35.
The currently flagship of the Nautor’s Swan range, 35.2 metre Solleone will be one of the largest sailing yachts on display at the Versilia Yachting Rendezvous. This German Frers-designed sloop is undoubtedly one of the best Swan yachts, with a raised saloon and a lightweight composite construction that makes for exhilarating sailing performance out on the open water.
