Built in aluminium by US yard Poole Boat Company to a design by Todd Chaffee and delivered in 1984, Rogue had an extensive refit between 1998 and 2000. The refit included a new bow design, new superstructure and a transom extension allowing for a tender elevator. Further work included upgrades to the electronic and mechanical systems and new engines.

The interior design by Gian Marco Campanino and Admiral Centro Stile features dark joinery throughout, which contrasts with the rare marble panels and natural leather surfaces.
