The 38 metre motor yacht Ligaya, listed for sale by Martyn Worms at Camberley International, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in steel and aluminium by Philippine yard Ocean Pacifico to a design by Holland's Diana Yacht Design, Ligaya was delivered in 2002 and refitted in 2009 with new soft furnishings throughout. Accommodation in a restful mahogany panelled interior is for 10 guests in five staterooms comprising a main-deck master suite with a king size bed, three double staterooms with queen sized beds and a twin, all with entertainment centres, Apple television screens and Italian marble en-suite bathroom facilities. There are also quarters for seven crew.
The large saloon was redecorated in mid-2014 and adjoins a comfortable dining room with seating for 10 guests while the skylounge features a bar and private library. The skylounge can also be turned into a home cinema enabling guests to enjoy the latest offerings from Hollywood.
A favourite area for al fresco entertaining and dining is her panoramic sun deck, complete with a barbecue, bar, fridge, spa pool and sun loungers, all under the cover of a large sun shade. Powered by twin 620hp Caterpillar diesel engines, she has a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 4,200 nautical miles.
Lying in Spain, Ligaya was asking €3,750,000.
