Yachtley
Located in Turkey’s Kocaeli Free Zone, Yachtley focuses on building and refitting modern superyachts from 50 to 160 metres in length to the highest standard, utilising advanced technology.
History
Founded in 2005, custom superyacht builder Yachtley is owned by by Fal Holding, a Saudi Arabian group comprised of nearly 100 companies in a variety of sectors including energy, technology, energy, logistics, healthcare, travel and agriculture. The shipyard has been certified by Lloyds for its quality, safety and environmental policies.
Notable Launches
Billed as the largest yacht built in Turkey to date, the 65-metre superyacht Nourah of Riyad launched from the Yachtley shipyard in 2009. Owned by a Saudi Arabian prince, her exterior styling and interior design were created by Donald Starkey Designs. A testament to Yachtley’s capabilities is the fact that Nourah of Riyad’s owner brought back to the shipyard in 2011 for a five metre extension to 70 metres.
In 2013, Yachtley launched the 80-metre superyacht Elements. This majestic yacht, built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, was designed by Sinot Yacht Designs and accommodates 24 guests.
Specialisations
Yachtley bills itself as the only shipyard in Europe that has its own in-house workshop that creates the furniture for its superyacht projects. In addition to building and refitting custom superyachts, Yachtley is engaged in commercial and military shipbuilding.
