Overmarine Group Yachts

With its corporate offices located in Viareggio, Italy, luxury yacht conglomerate Overmarine Group builds open and displacement power superyachts under the Mangusta and Mangusta Oceanco brand names. Its product line ranges from 22 to 65 metres.

History of Overmarine Yachts

Luxury yacht builder Overmarine Group was founded in 1985 by the Balducci family, which continues to run the company. The Group operates 10 Italy-based manufacturing facilities in the regions of Viareggio, Massarosa, Massa and Pisa, Tuscany. Under the brand names Mangusta and Mangusta Oceanco, Overmarine has delivered more than 300 yachts during its 30 years of operation. The luxury yacht builder helped to pioneer the design of high-performance superyachts with its Mangusta Maxi Open series. Its new Mangusta Oceanco displacement line features 42 and 46-metre yachts.

Notable Overmarine Superyachts

In May, 2015, superyacht builder Overmarine Group launched its first 40.2m Mangusta 132; the fourth Mangusta Maxi Open model to be introduced by Overmarine Group, following the Maxi Open 94, 110 and 165 models. The 49.9m Mangusta 165E Maxi Open superyacht Moonraker, delivered in 2014, is the eighth hull in the Mangusta 165 series, but the first to have the designation “E” for “Evolution”.
