Cerri Cantieri Navali

Based in Milan, Italy, Cerri Cantieri Navali builds stylish luxury performance yachts ranging from 24 to 31 metres in length.

History

Cerri Cantieri Navali was founded in 1997 by Italian businessman Carlo Cerri for the purpose of building the successful Cerri 28 sport boat. Two years later, the shipyard made a leap in size when it introduced the Cerri 52 luxury open yacht, which boasted a cruising speed of 34 knots. More models followed, each displaying “Cerri Style” – aggressive lines and finely detailed interiors. In 2002, Carlo Cerri launched the Cerri 86’ FlyingSport, a luxury flybridge yacht that offers a blistering maximum speed of 40 knots.

In 2011, Italian entrepreneur Beniamino Gavi acquired Cerri Cantieri Navali, which is now a member of the Gavi Group, along with superyacht builder Baglietto. The shipyard introduced its flagship, the Cerri 102’ FlyingSport, the same year. In 2012, Cerri Cantieri Navali entered into an agreement with the Rodriguez Group, which handles the sales of Cerri luxury yachts around the world.

Notable Yacht

The first hull of the Cerri 102’ FlyingSport series, the 31.10-metre superyacht Toby, combines the spacious on-deck living areas of a flybridge yacht with the sleek lines and thrilling performance of an open model. Twin MTU 16V M94 diesel engines mated to ZF surface drives give her a maximum speed of up to 40 knots. Toby accommodates ten guests in five staterooms, and also offers comfortable crew quarters.

Specialisations

Cerri Cantieri Navali offers naval architecture, design and construction for its three series of composite luxury yachts and superyachts: the 86’ FlyingSport, 100’ Comfort, and 102’ FlyingSport.
