Vintage Cartier bar brooch
Comprised of five shield-shaped diamond clips, this Cartier brooch dating from 1934 is a rare example of one of the brand's early 'novelty' jewels and is being auctioned by Bonham's on December 5, 2015. Totalling 15 carats, the diamond clips are set on a hinged bar allowing the piece to transform into a brooch, bracelet, epaulette or hair jewel.
