Cantiere Navale Vittoria receives second "improved" management buyout proposal

Italian shipyard Cantiere Navale Vittoria has received a second proposal for the purchasing of its facilities. According to CEO Dr. Stefano Lupi, this comes only two weeks after the initial proposal was received.

"It was predictable and desirable that new players would present themselves, and this is what is happening," Lupi said. "I am sure that following the opening of the competitive procedure which we hope will start as early as August, there will be other investors available to formalise their interest in the acquisition."
