ISA Yachts reveals all-new Sportivo line flagship

8 September 2023 • Written by Dea Jusufi

ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has revealed details on the 43.6-metre flagship model in its all-new Sportivo line. The Sportivo line is comprised of the 140, 120 and 100 models, with the latter scheduled for a 2025 delivery.

Designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, the Sportivo 140's athletic lines are inspired by the coupé automotive world, with a "highly innovative", military-style windshield that extends the superstructure in order to emulate a car bonnet. Naval architecture is by Palumbo.

The open-plan main saloon opens out onto a bar, dining area and spacious port side balcony

Accommodation is for eight guests across four cabins, including an owner's cabin positioned amidships to benefit from the yacht's nine-metre beam. The owner's cabin features a walk-in closet with a vanity, double bathroom with a large central shower, portside sofa and lounge area fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and a spacious terrace.

Interior renderings reveal a clean, contemporary style also courtesy of Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design. Materials such as lacquered wood, marble countertops and metal panels have been incorporated throughout, alongside eye-catching accents of orange and blue. The floor-to-ceiling windows, open-plan decks and lateral-opening balcony contribute to the 298 GT yacht's impressive sense of space.

Arranged with a 10-person al fresco dining area, sofa seating, bar and sunbathing area, the hardtop sundeck is one of the Sportivo 140's main social spaces. There is also a "hidden relaxation area" on the bow, arranged with a fireplace, Jacuzzi and Bimini shade. This space can be converted into a cinema room.

Other onboard highlights include a glass-sided swimming pool fitted with a "relaxation bench" overlooking the sea, a spacious swim platform and a port side tender garage.

Powered by twin MTU engines, the Sportivo 140 can reach a maximum speed of 32 knots and a range of 540 nautical miles at 26 knots. A draught of 1.5 metres will allow the Sportivo 140 to navigate shallow bays and anchorages, as seen in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

According to BOATPro, ISA Yachts has two units currently under construction: the Sportiva 66 and an unnamed, 80-metre custom motor yacht.
