What exactly is yacht management? Are yacht management services valued in the industry today? Who is truly in charge of the running of a superyacht?

Calling all stakeholders in the yachting industry - we’re seeking insights and experiences from across the industry on yacht management with the Big BOAT Yacht Management Survey, conducted in collaboration with Hill Robinson. This is your chance to have your say on the state of the yacht management sector, whether you're an owner, prospective buyer, charterer, captain, designer or shipyard worker.

“We are always striving to deliver the highest standard of service to our clients and are constantly seeking ways to improve and innovate,” says Kurt Fraser, chief commercial officer of Hill Robinson and Moravia Yachting. “Furthermore, we place great importance on building trusting relationships. That is why we are also keen to learn more about the relationships between shipyards and yacht management companies and how these can be improved.”

This brief survey will only take a few minutes of your time and all responses will be kept confidential. The results will contribute significantly to a movement aimed at gathering crucial market insights, which will, in turn, empower the industry to offer better yacht management services.

“The results of the survey will not only be useful to us but to other yacht managers and the wider yacht management community. It will help them understand what owners and captains are really looking for in a yacht management provider,” Fraser adds. “The continuous improvement of yacht management services has many benefits. Those benefits include cost and time savings, higher performance and standards on board, increased safety levels, better crew development and retention, and ultimately, greater peace of mind and increased enjoyment of yachting for owners.”

As a thank you for participating, we will donate one seagrass plant per completed survey via projectseagrass.org. Don't miss this opportunity to be part of shaping the future of yacht management.
