Built in aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by Frits De Voogt, Patriot was delivered in 1984 and is one of the few sportfish yachts built by the yard. Complete with all the equipment needed to fish and entertain on board, this 26.6 metre yacht has been listed for sale with Denison Yachting. BOAT takes a look around.

Patriot Exterior
The Foredeck
Patriot’s Williams 505 Diesel Jet Tender is stored on the bow and deployed by a removable davit.
Guest Accommodation
Patriot has enough space for up to six guests, with three cabins comprising a master suite forward and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities.
Patriot’s Master Cabin
Traditional and elegant, the master cabin features a queen island berth, spacious wardrobe and private en-suite.
The Aft View
In 2005, Patriot underwent a 15 month refit at Derecktor Shipyard in Florida and was refurbished from the bottom up with the aim of creating an ergonomic, safe, extremely quiet and state-of-the-art 'one-off' sport yacht.
The Saloon
At the centre of the yacht, the main saloon features a blend of teak wood combined with rich fabrics, creating an “atmosphere of classic luxury and comfort”. During the refit, special attention was paid to the sound-proofing of the interior.
The Cockpit
Patriot’s cockpit is decked out for serious fishing, with two large fish boxes, two bait wells and a large crushed ice machine in the fish well to keep those catches fresh for longer. Elsewhere, the cockpit features teak decks, a varnished teak transom and plenty of seating.
The Engine Room
Powered by twin MTU 12v 2000 CR 1800HP engines, Patriot has a cruising speed of 20 knots and top speed of 26 knots, perfect for keeping pace with the catch.
The Enclosed Pilothouse
Completely redesigned as part of Patriot’s major refit, the pilot house includes seating for eight guests and is the best place to enjoy the view while underway.
