The Italian brokerage house Whyko has signed a contract with Benetti Sail Division to complete the build of a 32.25m motor yacht.

One of the yard's signature canoe stern yachts, the BSD 105 is being built in steel and aluminium for family use and will have world-roaming capabilities. To be constructed to RINA class and powered by twin MAN 1,000hp engines, she will have a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots and 1,900 nautical miles at 12.7 knots.

A proposed interior has been designed by A-Cube, a Viareggio-based design studio, in a contemporary style utilising oak, canaletto walnut and ebony complemented by leather panelling. Accommodating 10 guests in five cabins, the layout offers an owner’s suite forward on the main deck with 180-degree views, and two VIPs and two twin cabins on the lower deck. Crew quarters accommodate up to six crew.

Whyko will supervise the construction throughout and delivery is scheduled for spring 2014.
