The long-range yacht fisher DON JUAN boasts an excellent range at an economical speed of 10 knots. She was built in 1983 on an Airex cored hull from Buck Smith and finished at Elliott Boats in Venice, CA. DON JUAN is the last Elliott ever made and has been well-maintained at the capable hands of her original owner. In 1996, DON JUAN was hauled, and new engines and generators were installed. The yacht features Naiad stabilizers, a large runabout tender, a huge fish hold in the cockpit and a tower offering excellent visibility for spotting fish.
The volume of DON JUAN's interior spaces is impressive and allows for various lounging, dining and guest accommodation areas. Her huge salon windows offer premium visibility of the cruising grounds and let in the perfect amount of natural light. The yacht's main salon and dining area are open with a massive teak table for 10 guests and a sunk-in bar complete with a soda gun, Icemaker and stainless-steel sink and faucet. The small settee to port offers additional guest accommodation when needed as the table is convertible into a bunk. DON JUAN's entertainment center allows guests to gather together and enjoy movies after a long day on the water. The salon and well-equipped galley are adorned with beautiful teak cabinetry, adding a warm and welcoming ambiance to the space. A large stairway leads up to the pilothouse, and an additional stairway allows access to the accommodation areas. DON JUAN's pilothouse features two Helm chairs, a settee with a large table and port and starboard side doors with direct access to the side decks.
The yacht's versatile accommodation offerings ensure that any guest who spends their nights onboard will be easily accommodated. DON JUAN welcomes 10 guests in three cabins and one guest on the convertible bunk in the salon. The owner's stateroom features a walkaround queen bed, a private en-suite with a shower and plenty of storage and drawers. A special navigation cabinet lets the owner view the radar and chart plotters. The space is private, spacious and comfortable with ample amenities to enjoy a restful night's sleep. The VIP stateroom is located across from the master and features a queen bed. Portlights provide natural light and ensure the space is well-ventilated. The teak cabinetry gives the space a warm, welcoming atmosphere. DON JUAN's further accommodations include a guest stateroom with a double bed and a single bed and a guest/crew cabin with upper and lower bunks.
DON JUAN's exterior boasts timeless lines and a massive cockpit perfectly suited for fishing and diving. Her wide side decks allow for seamless movement from one area to the other. The tower adds an extra vantage point to help spot fish from long distances. The yacht's cockpit features three large bait tanks, a full-beam fish hold and plenty of rod storage. Her flybridge has a forward helm station with a Captain's chair and large sunbeds and a nice Bimini top for shade.
