Vismara Marine Yachts

A versatile yacht designer and builder located in Viareggio, Italy, Vismara Marine constructs luxury motor and sailing yachts ranging from 10 to 27.5 metres.

History of Vismara Marine

Luxury yacht builder Vismara Marine was founded in 1984 by naval architect Alessandro Vismara. Early in his career, Vismara designed yachts for superyacht builder Perini Navi, and he is a longtime design collaborator with luxury sailing yacht builder Baltic Yachts.

High-performance racing yachts were a primary focus for luxury yacht builder Vismara Marine until 1999, when the firm collaborated with Mas Yachts on the design of the 8.5-metre Mas 28 performance powerboat. Today, Vismara Marine builds luxury sailing yachts designed for racing and cruising, as well as luxury motor yachts.

Notable Vismara Marine Yachts

In 2011, luxury yacht builder Vismara Marine launched the 16.3-metre V50 Hybrid sailing yacht Energheia, featuring a diesel/electric auxiliary engine. RINA awarded the luxury sailing yacht its Green Star Plus Platinum designation for environmentally friendly design.

Leaving a smaller environmental footprint also is the concept behind the new 27.5-metre custom Vismara 90 Fast Explorer motor yacht commissioned by energy magnate Fernandino Brachetti Perretti. Luxury yacht builder Vismara Marine designed this flagship to provide speeds of up to 35 knots with smaller, 1.400-hp Caterpillar diesel main engines.
