Contini Art Gallery
Contini Art Gallery is a private, contemporary art gallery founded in 1979 by Stefano Contini. With more than 40 years of activity, the gallery is recognised as a landmark by artists and collectors from all over the world.
The gallery is personally run by Mr Contini, along with his wife Riccarda Grasselli Contini and the assistance of a multilingual staff, all qualified professionals working together to contribute towards the growth and success of the business.
The gallery's activities are spread over two cities and four locations in Venice and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Its main venue is the Venetian five-story building on Calle Larga XXII Marzo where some of the most prestigious names in modern and contemporary art can be seen, including masters Fernando Botero, Pablo Atchugarry, Manolo Valdés, Igor Mitoraj, Robert Indiana, Julio Larraz, Robert Indiana, Michail Baryšnikov and Park Eun Sun. Alongside them, works by talented Italian artists, such as Mario Arlati, Enzo Fiore, Andrea Valleri and Paolo Vegas, are also on display.
The gallery's spaces in Venice and Cortina d'Ampezzo operate as an international centre for the arts, aiming to please and advise everyone, from the most novel to the most experienced collectors. The gallery is not just home to collectors, it prides itself to be home to many renowned international artists with whom the Contini family has established both professional and personal connections. This allowed the galleries to grow into the elected venue for many internationally acclaimed artists who chose its spaces to mesmerise the audience with fascinating exhibitions.
