ASTERIA for charter
Good for:
The 49m luxury explorer yacht ASTERIA is available for charter and is ready to take guests to the most adventurous of locations.
Starting life in 1970 as a salvage tug, ASTERIA was completely re-built and converted to a luxury yacht in 2002. In 2019 another major refit was completed, including a full repaint, an upgraded aluminium mast, and a complete overhaul of her interiors and exteriors, leaving her looking and feeling as good as new.
Revered architect Charles Zana has done an excellent job of staying true to ASTERIA’s traditional roots while bringing her right up to date. Inside, wood panelling and polished floorboards are punctuated with navy-blue deep-cushioned sofas, while rich marble bathrooms and plenty of natural light from the many windows create a calming ambience.
Out on deck, there’s a brand-new built-in lounge area behind the aft-deck dining table, an inviting Jacuzzi on the sundeck and masses of teak, giving a classic nautical feel while offering modern amenities.
ASTERIA’s toy list has also had an extensive upgrade, with lots of new water toys, including kayaks, paddleboards, sailing dinghies, waterskis and wakeboards. She also has a new custom-built 6.6m beach-landing high-speed jet tender, am 8.5m Northwind RIB tender with a cabin, and two 5.5m Zodiac tenders.
While many vessels might call themselves ‘explorers’, ASTERIA is a true explorer vessel, having safely and very comfortably sailed to both the North and South Poles and through the Northwest Passage. With a full global circumnavigation under her built, ASTERIA’s stability, safety and comfort in remote areas is without question.
ASTERIA can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins, including a master suite on the upper deck and five further en-suite guest cabins, comprising four doubles and one twin. Two of the double cabins can also be converted into twins.
She is fitted with Quantum Zero Speed stabilisers, ensuring onboard comfort at all times.
