French designer Remi Tessier is responding to allegations made by WhatsApp co-founder Jan Koum that Tessier defrauded Koum out of millions of dollars while renovating the latter's luxury residences and two superyachts.
In court documents filed earlier this evening to the Southern District court of New York, Tessier's legal team has moved to dismiss Koum's application for US discovery, calling it a "retributive campaign" to damage Tessier's reputation and breach the confidentiality of ongoing arbitrations in London and Paris.
