FX Yachts stands out in a crowded market by offering high-quality yachts with customer-oriented design and excellent craftsmanship at a low cost. You can have your yacht and afford to run it, too.
The sporty yachts in the FX Yachts ’ lineup are focused on outdoor living complemented by luxe, minimalist interiors.
Take, for instance, the new FX Yachts FX29, which will make its debut at Cannes this September. The 28.85 metre planing hull yacht has a massive sun deck as well as a bow lounge area for outdoor enjoyment. The wide, open sun deck has chaises lounges set aft and a huge sunpad to port across from a settee that is ideal for al fresco dining. For those who want to feel the rush of air and enjoy the view as the yacht flies at her 28-knot top speed, there are comfortable benches alongside the captain’s seat at the midline helm.
The FX29 looks good as she moves, either at max speed or at a swift cruising speed of 23 knots, powered by twin 1,920 MTU engines. The champagne colour hull shines against the white superstructure, which is silhouetted by vast glazing. These large windows – cat-eye shaped on each side and a huge band across the bridge forward – not only define the sleek exterior styling of the yacht but lets tons of light into the main deck.
The hull portholes are an unusual horizontal rectangular shape, giving further interest to the yacht’s exterior and interior, which was penned by Scaro Design. The Istanbul-based design house also styled the yacht’s contemporary, Mediterranean inspired interior, which is light, bright and welcoming.
Scaro has penned elegant and dynamic exterior lines, and the yacht is proportionally well thought out with a spacious sun deck, vertical transom that hides a garage and beach club and a foredeck sunbed.
The main deck is bathed in light thanks to the enormous glazing, which from the inside is shaped like huge, rectangular picture windows. The sense of space is amplified by the selected materials, such as the white carpets, light leather furnishings and mid-tonal woods. The dining table is glass topped and paired with modern chairs. Overall the décor is minimalist and chic – but also comfortable – a nod to the best in mid-century design.
The FX29 will accommodate eight guests in four luxe cabins. The master stateroom has a low-slung, platform style bed and built-in couch and is decorated in natural tones, suitable of a space designed for rest and relaxation.
Acclaimed yacht design on the FX29, includes GRP and is RINA and MCA compliant. Thanks to up to date build technology, FX Yachts ranging from 26 to 40 metres can be built in approximately 10 to 22 months.
FX Yachts will present its new FX29 at Cannes this year, along with the model for its brand new 38 metre in build.
The FX 38 epitomises power and style and makes navigating at sea an unforgettable experience. Its avant-garde materials and design have enabled dramatic gains in speed. Not only that, but the boat has greater inherent stability and is much easier to handle than traditional craft of its size.
The FX38 combines its exhilarating performance with a stunning sense of volume. Space is apparent everywhere, from its unique transom design, which allows the full length of the boat to be used for living and entertaining, to its elegant, roomy interiors. Beautiful fabrics and joinery from the hands of the world’s finest craftsmen are displayed at their best in this setting and add to the atmosphere of quality and serenity. The layout may be customised to provide from four to six staterooms, according to its discerning owner’s requirements.
