After the global yachting industry descended on the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2024, leading brokerage firm Fraser proudly presented the 38.2-metre Altavita. Built in 2018 in GRP, Altavita is currently on the market and presents a rare opportunity for buyers to own a custom Gulf Craft 125 model from an award-winning shipyard. Having cruised in the French Riviera, the Balearic Islands and Florida, as well as from Vancouver, B.C. to Cabo San Lucas and back, Altavita's journey is as impressive as her design.
Maintained to perfection
Commissioned by a discerning Australian couple, Altavita was custom-built to meet the demands of her experienced owners. Under constant professional management, she has been fully crewed since her original delivery and benefitted from consistent upgrades, ensuring she remains in pristine condition. The superyacht has recently completed a rigorous five-year class survey at Westport Shipyard in Anacortes, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality. The comprehensive upgrades carried out during this survey include a major overhaul of the main switchboard, a full electrical survey and servicing of critical components such as the transformer stern platform and stabiliser and thruster hydraulic unit.
Design and comfort inside and out
Designed by New York-based studio Nina Seirafi Design, Altavita’s interior is large, spacious and versatile. With accommodation for 12 guests in five staterooms, she includes two VIP suites and a master suite on the main deck. The master, stretching the full 7.7-metre beam, features a bathtub, shower and walk-in wardrobe. Further to this, there is accommodation for eight crew in three twin cabins, plus a captain’s cabin on the bridge with an ensuite.
Gulf Craft's in-house team handled the exterior design, resulting in an impressive 299GT volume. The yacht boasts expansive open deck spaces, including a sundeck flybridge with a hot tub, Teppaneki grill and spacious al fresco lounge areas. A folding balcony off the main saloon and a hydraulic boating ramp on the transformer swim platform enhance the connection with the sea and allow for easy access to water toys.
Altavita’s well-stocked toy box includes two Seadoo Spark 900 PWCs, two Seabobs and a Castoldi Tender with a Yanmar 4JH11X1 water jet drive. The Besenzoni hydraulic crane facilitates easy launch and retrieval of Jet Skis from the garage.
Seize the opportunity
The prospective owner of Altavita will not only revel in the yacht’s impressive onboard features but also enjoy the benefits of immediate availability. Whether for personal use with family and friends or commercial ventures, Altavita is charter-compliant to the MCA LY3/Bureau Veritas Charter Class 3.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines, Altavita achieves a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Her economical range of 1,100 nautical miles at 10 knots makes it an ideal choice for those seeking both performance and efficiency. The Caterpillar Platinum Plus Extended Warranty until October 2026 further adds to her appeal.
Altavita is currently on the market with Fraser brokers Matthew Martin and James Nason, with an asking price of $10,250,000. To learn more about Altavita, contact the brokers at Fraser today.
