The Mediterranean continues to be a prime destination for superyachts, and one of the region’s leading marina groups, D-Marin, is further enhancing this allure through its extensive selection of marinas, some of which are undergoing exciting new developments and upgrades.
D-Marin has become synonymous with premium yachting, offering over 14,000 berths and dry dock facilities for more than 2,500 vessels across the Mediterranean and Gulf regions. D-Marin has a long-established footprint in Turkey, Greece and Croatia, and has doubled its selection of marinas by expanding in new yachting regions. “It is our vision to create the first pan-Mediterranean premium selection of marinas. With 740 superyacht berths in the selection, D-Marin is leading the sector with expertise specially developed to meet superyacht needs," says Oliver Dörschuck, CEO of D-Marin. “With our commitment to quality and exceptional customer service, D-Marin is dedicated to delivering a world-class yachting experience for both private customers and business partners alike. For D-Marin, concierge isn’t a bolt-on service but a complete approach.”
Serving the region’s top yachting hubs
D-Marin’s strategic development of Mediterranean marinas has positioned the group as a key player in the most sought-after yachting hubs, particularly in southern France and northern Italy. This number of marinas enables yachts to explore both popular and undiscovered destinations along the French and Italian Rivieras with ease.
Situated near the scenic coastal towns of Cinque Terre, Porto Mirabello offers 407 berths, including 42 berths for superyachts up to as large as 140 metres LOA. The marina boasts exceptional onsite facilities, including upscale dining, shopping, a pool, gym and even a heliport.
D-Marin also operates the picturesque Marina di Varazze, a modern marina on the Western Riviera of the Gulf of Genoa, featuring berthing for 800 yachts and accommodation for vessels up to 45 metres.
Moving north, D-Marin operates two significant marinas in the Liguria region - Marina di San Lorenzo and Marina degli Aregai. One of the largest in the area, Marina degli Aregai offers 961 berths for yachts up to 50 metres, while Marina di San Lorenzo provides 268 berths for boats up to 40 metres. Both marinas offer prime access to the stunning Ligurian coastline.
As D-Marin’s first marina in French waters, Camille Rayon is strategically located between the renowned yachting hubs of Cannes and Antibes. The marina features 841 berths for boats ranging from six to 75 metres and offers a sheltered port with easy access to beautiful French anchorages, as well as nearby marinas in Italy.
To further enhance accessibility across its network, D-Marin’s ‘Happy Berth Days’ initiative provides complimentary berthing at all its marinas, allowing customers to enjoy a variety of cruising options while experiencing consistent, high-quality service at each destination.
A growing selection of new builds and upgrades
D-Marin continues to expand its Mediterranean presence with the addition of new marinas and major renovations to existing ones, enhancing its offering in the region. Developed in collaboration with the Azimut|Benetti Group, Marina di Livorno is currently under construction and slated to open in June 2026.
Marina di Livorno, located next to the famous Azimut|Benetti shipyard, will offer 815 berths. Designed by Florence-based Italian studio Archea Associati, the superyacht marina will feature state-of-the-art meeting spaces and premium leisure facilities. The €15 million investment also includes green initiatives, such as solar panels and rainwater recovery systems.
Located in the naturally sheltered Bay of Navarino, Pylos Marina is a new project in partnership with leading Greek investor TEMES S.A. This multi-million-euro investment will transform the marina into a premier yachting destination with 129 berths for yachts up to 30 metres LOA, whilst preserving the beautiful character of the region. The project goes beyond the marina itself, aiming to create a vibrant community hub with updated amenities, a €10 million investment in digitisation and environmental initiatives throughout.
Gouvia Marina in Corfu, also part of the D-Marin selection of Mediterranean marinas, is currently undergoing a multimillion-euro upgrade to enhance facilities and infrastructure, taking the marina to new levels of premium leisure experience.
Currently under construction, Vlora Marina is set to elevate Albania's status in the yachting world. With 438 berths for vessels up to 50 metres LOA, the marina will draw superyachts to Albania’s picturesque 426-kilometre coastline. The development will feature a two-kilometre beachfront promenade lined with upscale restaurants, bars, a signature spa and high-end retail spaces. Future plans include the addition of luxury apartments and five-star hotels.
These new superyacht marinas reinforce D-Marin’s mission of creating an unrivalled selection of marinas in world-class yachting destinations within easy reach of one another, ensuring consistent, premium service. "It is our vision to create the first pan-Mediterranean premium selection of marinas, equivalent to a five-star hotel chain," Dörschuck explains. "Whilst we are currently focused on the Mediterranean, we also look further afield. Our marinas in the UAE are also growing and offer the same quality of service and convenience, adding Marsa Al Arab and Port De La Mer during the last year."
