The 34 metre classic Benetti motor yacht Hidalgo has been filmed on fire in Italy.
The yacht was hauled out at the Muggiano shipyard near La Spezia when the fire broke out on the morning of September 15.
According to local news site Liguria Nautica, the fire created “a dense column of smoke” that was “visible from a considerable distance”.
The fire service arrived promptly and prevented the fire from spreading onto neighbouring yachts. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
Delivered in 1968, Hidalgo was designed in-house and can accommodate a total of 12 guests on board with a crew of eight.
