News just in from Efthimis Karalis at A1 Yacht Trade Consortium of a €300,000 price reduction on his central listing for sale, the 33m ketch-rigged sailing yacht Amazon.

Sailing superyacht Amazon was built at Sweden's Lidingoverken yard and launched in 1949. Previously named Zolana, she was refitted in 1975 and 1989 with a major rebuild in 2004/2005. Karalis says she’s capable of high speeds in the water but is equally comfortable while cruising and accommodates 12 guests in five cabins. These comprise four doubles and a twin plus two Pullman berths, and all cabins have en suite bathroom facilities with showers.

Under power, Amazon has twin 330hp Caterpillar engines giving her a cruising speed of 10 knots. Other features include two bow thrusters a watermaker, electric rollers on the mizzen mast and two forestays.

Amazon is down from €2,250,000 to €1,950,000.
