Yacht for sale: the 50m new-build with a dedicated owners deck

Anticipation is building as 50-metre Solstice, a custom-designed steel and aluminium yacht currently on the market with Capital Yachting, nears her planned completion in 2025. With exteriors crafted by Adeo Yacht Design and interiors penned by H2 Yacht Design, the superyacht boasts expansive spaces and luxurious facilities that are not often found on a yacht in this size bracket. Overseeing the construction in Athens, Greece is naval architect Alpha Marine, where customisation is its top priority in the build process, allowing the future owner to truly make the yacht their own.

Bigger and better

What makes this project unique is the option to extend the yacht beyond her standard 50-metre LOA by an additional five metres – a prospect that not only enhances her length but introduces luxurious additions to her exterior. Led by Alpha Marine, the extension aims to optimise Solstice’s exterior shape and create a large aft swim platform. This additional space would feature foldable platforms and a swimming pool, as well as a one-metre bow extension.

“These arrangements would create a functional and aesthetic area for the guests with direct access to the sea,” says Nikos Dafnias, founder and CEO of Alpha Marine.

The current layout comfortably accommodates 12 guests in seven cabins. As well as the owner’s suite, there are two twin VIP double suites on the “first deck” plus two double and two twin cabins on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of 12, thoughtfully positioned forward on the lower deck and main deck to maintain privacy.

An owner’s paradise

One of Solstice's standout features is the dedicated owner's deck, offering an expansive owner's suite with the option to commandeer the entire deck for a truly exclusive experience. The space is complete with a private Jacuzzi on the foredeck, an owner's saloon and an exterior aft deck, which features a dining table that can seat 12 and a sofa that can be converted into sun beds. A unique added touch is the option to install an outdoor summer cinema, allowing you to enjoy your favourite films under the stars.

Strong charter potential

For those looking for a yacht with the option of commercial use, Solstice is fully charter-compliant. Powered by twin 1,450hp MTU engines, the broker points out Solstice's strong charter potential. Featuring spacious guest suites, a cinema room, a spa and a fully equipped gym, she has rare amenities for a yacht of this size. What’s more, there are pantries strategically located on all decks that each connect to the galley, ensuring an efficient and high level of service, and the spatial arrangement on board ensures constant privacy between the guests and crew.

Solstice is currently for sale with Capital Yachting’s Konstantinos Ladas and is asking €19,500,000 in her current 50-metre form.
