The news of the launch of the largest yacht ever built by Trinity Yachts arrived at the end of February. Today full details have been released about the hull T043, now known under the name Areti. Readers may recall that we reported the sale of this project on 30 April 2010 in our brokerage news.
Built in aluminium, Areti is ABS classed and MCA compliant. She has a length of 60.35m with a relatively small draft of 2.4m allowing access to most of the harbours in the world.
Areti is designed by the yard's in-house team and has an interior by Patrick Knowles. The full-beam upper deck houses a skylounge, an office, a VIP stateroom and the master suite forward with a private foredeck, meaning that owners will enjoy a panoramic view on the sea. Areti accommodates a total of 13 guests in a master, a VIP and five double cabins including four on the lower deck.
Deprived of her logical place, the wheelhouse is located forward on the main deck, slightly raised to offer more space for two levels of crew quarters below. Nine cabins can host 18 crew.
Areti is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 engines of 3,385hp each and will reach a maximum speed of 19 knots and a range of 4,350 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Areti will start her sea trials soon and is scheduled for delivery this Summer.
When delivered, Areti will join our top 50 largest US-built yachts in 6th place.
