Among these is the private owner’s suite which features wraparound views and access to a private lounge foredeck. Yersin was conceived by an adventure-loving owner and delivered in 2015 as an eco-conscious, world-girdling expedition yacht. She's ice-classed, Polar-code compliant and equipped with a barge, seaplane and enough provisions to keep 18 people fed for 50 days. Her 2,198GT interiors were often used to house researchers, scientists and students, to the end of educating and progressing global conservation efforts. The superyacht is also built to be 95 per cent recyclable and is Clean Ship certified, resulting in very low environmental impact with minimal fuel consumption. Named after bacteriologist Doctor Alexandre Yersin, the ceremony was attended by HSH Prince Albert II and blessed by the Vicar General of Monaco.
